Are you in Y12 and interested in a career in Education? Come along to Discover Manchester: Education to learn all about studying at the Manchester Institute for Education within our School of Environment, Education and Development. The day will give you an insight into our BSc Education, BSc Educational Psychology and BA Education, Leadership and Culture courses, as well as give you the opportunity to meet academics and students from those disciplines.

 

In the morning, you will have an introduction to the University and the undergraduate courses outlined above. You will then attend 2 interactive workshops giving a taste of topics you will learn about as well as have the opportunity to meet academics, alumni and current students and discuss career pathways with our team of experts. There will also be an opportunity for a guided campus tour with our student ambassadors.

 

Please come along to the event, particularly if you are considering careers in primary and early years education, secondary education, youth work, special needs teaching, community education, education policy development or related areas.

Real Estate Careers Information Day - 19th November

  We hold a series of Insight Days around the country each in the Spring and Autumn term. Our next Insight Days will be held on the following days for Yr12 students: 13th November - Leeds 19th November - Manchester 28th November - London - This is now full Applications open on 1st August and will close on 20th October. Students will go on a site visit, work on a small project and have a Q&A session with both current and recent Real Estate graduates who are now working in the Industry.  They will also be assisting students throughout the day.
