We have a brilliant opportunity for your students currently studying in Year 12 or equivalent and have an interest in studying the digital arts. 

The PlayStation Career Pathways Program non-residential Summer School is a great opportunity for students to get a deeper understanding of the digital arts and gain evidence to include in their personal statements.

PlayStation Career Pathways Program non-residential Summer School
The School of Digital Arts (SODA) at Manchester Metropolitan University, has been given support by PlayStation Career Pathways to run a non-residential summer school.  

Who is it for? 
The PlayStation Career Pathways Program is aimed at individuals from Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic backgrounds who are currently studying in Year 12 or equivalent at a college or school and have an interest in studying the digital arts.  

What can I expect?
The three-day event is supported by PlayStation Career Pathways and is an exciting opportunity for you to get a taste for creative subjects at university, build confidence and creative skills, and learn from experts within their field in the specialist facilities at SODA. The event will include hands on taster sessions in relevant areas such as games, animation and filmmaking.   

When will it take place?
The non-residential PlayStation Career Pathways Summer School programme will run across three days between the hours of 10am and 3pm:   

  • Tuesday 2 July 2024 
  • Wednesday 3 July 2024   
  • Thursday 4 July 2024   

Where will it take place?
The non-residential PlayStation Career Pathways Summer School will take place the School of Digital Arts (SODA) at Manchester Metropolitan University.

If students choose to progress to Manchester Metropolitan University and meet the criteria, they will also be eligible to apply for the PlayStation Career Pathways Program Scholarship.

Real Estate Careers Information Day - 19th November

  We hold a series of Insight Days around the country each in the Spring and Autumn term. Our next Insight Days will be held on the following days for Yr12 students: 13th November - Leeds 19th November - Manchester 28th November - London - This is now full Applications open on 1st August and will close on 20th October. Students will go on a site visit, work on a small project and have a Q&A session with both current and recent Real Estate graduates who are now working in the Industry.  They will also be assisting students throughout the day. The day will be fully funded by Pathways2property including travel costs to and from the venue. Please note!
