Year 12 - Real Estate Summer Residential - Closing date is 20th April

Applications for our Real Estate summer residential are closing at the end of the Easter holidays on Sunday 20th April so please remind your students to apply on this the last week of term.

An opportunity for Year 12 students to attend a four day, fully funded Summer School at the University of Reading to learn about a career in property.

Every day we are influenced by the built environment around us – shops, offices, industrial buildings, houses and the surrounding countryside all have an impact on the way we live. Did you ever wonder how these properties are developed, whether the buildings going up in our cities are sustainable or how much they are worth? The Pathways to Property Summer School allows students the chance to explore the property industry in more depth. With such a huge variety of roles, from a building surveyor or town planner to a sustainability consultant or financial analyst, there is a role to suit any skillset or personality.

Date: 8th -11th July 2025

Venue: University of Reading

Who: Year 12 students from state schools/colleges considering a career in property – either through University or through an apprenticeship

Cost: Nothing! All food, accommodation and travel costs are covered

During the Summer School:

  • Learn about the industry and the careers available
  • Meet current undergrads and apprentices as well as those who have just joined the industry
  • Attend taster lectures
  • Get involved in a group project and debate
  • Go on a site visit
  • Meet new people and learn how to network
  • Experience life on a University campus
  • Have fun!

How to Apply: Applications close on 20th April (the last day of the Easter holidays). Visit the website to apply at P2P Summer School 2025 | Henley Live
