The Insider Guide: Solicitor Apprenticeships Virtual sessions
My Launchpad are running a series of virtual events in partnership with leading global law firm Freshfields.
This online event series is specifically aimed at those intending to apply to solicitor apprenticeships, or those who just want to know more about this route to qualification!
We hope to provide a thorough deep-dive into the different aspects of the solicitor apprenticeship including a detailed overview of the route, a salary breakdown, a genuine review of the social life, and our tips and tricks for the application process as solicitor apprentices ourselves.
Each online event will be concluded with a Q&A session, allowing you to have all your questions answered by current solicitor apprentices and Freshfields Early Careers. We hope to help you make an informed decision on your future, and leave you ready and prepped to ace application season!
Events will be monthly on a Friday, starting at 6.30pm:
Here's what each online event will entail:
30 May: An Intro to Solicitor Apprenticeships
27 June: Money Matters: The Financial Realities of Solicitor Apprenticeships
25 July: A Honest Review: Do Solicitor Apprentice's Have a Social Life?
29 August: The Application Process Deep-Dive & Ask the Recruiter!

Please register separately for each event as per your preference. Our strong recommendation is to register for all 4 of the events as they are designed as a series to thoroughly prepare you for the upcoming application season, and more importantly, help you make an informed decision on your future.
Please note applications for the mylaunchpad 1:1 and group mentoring schemes will open on a rolling basis in Winter 2025 for students intending to apply to solicitor apprenticeships with an Autumn/Winter 2026 start. The scheme will prioritise low socio-economic individuals.
