MMU Focus group online Tuesday 1st July @ 6pm - earn a £20 voucher for an hour of your time

 


Manchester Metropolitan University would like to invite Year 12 students to take part in some research on undergraduate prospectuses, with sessions run on teams or zoom with a maximum of 8-10 in each group, and a £20 amazon evoucher for all who take part.


Sessions will typically last an hour, will include informal discussions and be hosted on teams or zoom. Students’ views will be used to help in the production of future prospectuses and course information at Manchester Metropolitan University.

We are interested in gaining students opinions on our UG26 prospectus and university prospectuses in general as a source of information looking at our own and some examples from other universities in the session.

We would like to find out:

  • how students use prospectuses as a source of information and at which points of the process
  • what works and what doesn’t
  • opinions on look and feel, content and tone, key information to include
  • how these printed mini guides are used alongside/instead of digital content

 

The focus group will also provide an opportunity for students to find out about the process of producing a university prospectus, gain industry insight and experience a focus group as a marketing tool – so perhaps of extra interest to any business or marketing students or creatives looking to enhance their employability.
