Y12/13 | University of Huddersfield School of Arts and Humanities Taster Day on 17th September 2025

We are delighted to invite you to the next University of Huddersfield School of Arts and Humanities Taster Day on 17th September 2025. Our taster days are designed to provide Y12 and Y13 students with the experience of university-level study in creative arts and humanities subject areas and to support them as they explore their next steps in education, all whilst encouraging each attendee to realise the value of creative and critical disciplines in shaping their futures.

 

What to Expect:

 

  • Engaging subject workshops available in each of our disciplines: media, fashion and textiles, fine art, photography, film, graphic design, interior design, music, drama, English, history, and architecture
  • Insight into university life, taught by our experienced and passionate academic staff
  • Opportunities for students to envision their own academic journeys beyond college, and connect their creativity with real-world career pathways in the cultural and creative industries
  • Campus tours and student panels, offering a full picture of what it’s like to study at Huddersfield

 

We would be thrilled to welcome you to our campus for what promises to be an inspiring day for all involved. The taster day will run from 10:00 – 15:00, during which students will have the choice to take part in two 90-minute creative workshops in their chosen subject areas, alongside tours of our creative facilities and specialist subject talks.

Real Estate Careers Information Day - 19th November

  We hold a series of Insight Days around the country each in the Spring and Autumn term. Our next Insight Days will be held on the following days for Yr12 students: 13th November - Leeds 19th November - Manchester 28th November - London - This is now full Applications open on 1st August and will close on 20th October. Students will go on a site visit, work on a small project and have a Q&A session with both current and recent Real Estate graduates who are now working in the Industry.  They will also be assisting students throughout the day. The day will be fully funded by Pathways2property including travel costs to and from the venue. Please note!
