Business/Finance Y12 & Y13 AON 3-Day Work Insights Programme

 

 

AON, a global professional services firm, are offering their three-day Work Insights Programme to Y12 and Y13 students in Manchester from 28 – 30 October 2025. 


Applications will close on 28 September 2025. Students who participate in the programme will have access to exclusive support to apply to Aon apprenticeships. This programme is a social mobility programme and we’d encourage you to target this opportunity at students who receive free school meals and/or a bursary. 

 

We would specifically recommend this opportunity to any students who are interested in careers within the corporate world, especially in business or finance, or those who are interested in exploring apprenticeships after they finish Y13. 

 

The 3-day programme will be hosted in Aon’s offices in Manchester. Students will participate in direct mentorship with Aon employees, develop their teamwork skills by working on group projects, and engage in company-wide networking. Lunch will be provided, and travel will be reimbursed.

  Year 12 Students Students will be assigned to a  two-day work experience  in Asset Management & Finance, delivered in partnership with Barings.   Dates:  6th & 7th August  Students may be based anywhere in England but must attend in person in London on 7th August   Completion Award:  £30  Cash prizes available for the winning team challenge Year 12 students will also attend the same two-day  Application Preparation & Employability Skills Programme  (4th August virtual, 5th August in person).
