Year 12 & Year 13 - Real Estate Careers

Morning

Pathways to Property, based at the University of Reading are delighted to offer your Year 12 and 13 students the opportunity to attend a Real Estate Insight Day in Manchester on 19th November.  The day is being held in collaboration with MODA and is designed for those interested in exploring a career in the industry. Applications (here) close on 19th October.

The day will provide students with a deeper understanding of the industry through a site visit, a hands-on project, and a Q&A session with both current and recent graduates and apprentices now working within the industry.

This is a fully funded experience and students who attend will gain access to our broader programme of opportunities.

Following participation in the Insight Day, students will be eligible to apply for:

  • Work experience placements (Yr12 only)
  • Our e-mentoring programme (Yr12 only)
  • A bursary of up to £30,000 if they pursue a property-related degree at any university

Additionally, if they choose to study Real Estate at the University of Reading, they will receive:

  • A guaranteed contextual offer
  • An automatic Welcome bursary upon enrolment

Priority will be given to local students who meet our criteria, but please do get in touch if you have a student who you feel would benefit, even if they fall outside the usual requirements.  Further information including an application form can be found on our website or you can contact me on: pathways2property@henley.ac.uk. You can also see our full website here : Pathways to Property Main Page | Henley Live

We are a charity funded by the Real Estate Industry, based at the University of Reading, who are keen to support students from less advantaged and non-traditional backgrounds.  In the 12 years we have been running we have engaged with over 26,400 students - 22% of attendees of our Summer school have since gone on to study or work in property

Our programmes are suitable for students that want a career in property or are just unsure of what they want to do to - it may just provide the aspiration a student needs!
