They are seeking ideally 3 school leavers to start their placement this summer 2024 for 12 months (so students will currently be in Year 13). EDT Placements (The Year in Industry (YINI)), part of the Engineering Development Trust (EDT), is a not-for-profit organisation offering Pre-university/ post A-Level students a free extra resource when searching for year out, paid work placements. These placements give students the opportunity to check out STEM careers, make informed decisions about which study or career path to take and can lead to sponsorship or apprenticeship opportunities. As an MP I often receive requests for some experience of an MP’s office but unfortunately cannot accommodate them all. So, to try and give as many young people from Oldham as possible community placements experience, I am opening applications for my eleventh  Working for your Community summer school . Open to Year 11 and 12 (in England and S4-S5 in Scotland) students, the 3-day experience is designed to give students an insight into PwC: our lines of service, our culture, the work we do and how they can join us as a school leaver.
