Calling all Year 12s interested in Science, Engineering or Fashion Business. 

 

The University of Manchester is running a number of Discover Days offering you the chance to step into the shoes of a undergraduate student at Manchester.

 

These days will be held at their university campus and will provide an opportunity to gain hands-on experience to help you decide what to study beyond your A-levels.

Includes Geology

 

Discover Chemistry

18 and 24 June 2025

 

 

The university also offers free travel for Widening Participation students. Check your eligibility.

Year 12 - Work Experience in Private Equity, Finance or Asset Management - Deadline is 15th March

  Year 12 Students Students will be assigned to a  two-day work experience  in Asset Management & Finance, delivered in partnership with Barings.   Dates:  6th & 7th August  Students may be based anywhere in England but must attend in person in London on 7th August   Completion Award:  £30  Cash prizes available for the winning team challenge Year 12 students will also attend the same two-day  Application Preparation & Employability Skills Programme  (4th August virtual, 5th August in person).
