In2STEM - summer work experience for science and technology (DEADLINE 5th April)

 There are is less than one week to go until the application deadline for the 2026 In2STEM Programme on the 5th April. 


We have spaces available on placements at the University of Manchester, University of Salford and SciScript Medical and Scientific Communications Ltd and we would really appreciate your support in sharing this with any suitable students.


About In2STEM

In2STEM is a free programme for students from low socioeconomic backgrounds offering:

  • 1-2 week work experience placement, supported by a bursary for travel and lunches

  • Online skills and employability workshops with STEM professionals to build confidence and explore career pathways

  • Public engagement competitions to build confidence and enthusiasm in STEM communication.  


The programme runs from 20 July – 21 August 2026.

Year 12 - Work Experience in Private Equity, Finance or Asset Management - Deadline is 15th March

  Year 12 Students Students will be assigned to a  two-day work experience  in Asset Management & Finance, delivered in partnership with Barings.   Dates:  6th & 7th August  Students may be based anywhere in England but must attend in person in London on 7th August   Completion Award:  £30  Cash prizes available for the winning team challenge Year 12 students will also attend the same two-day  Application Preparation & Employability Skills Programme  (4th August virtual, 5th August in person).
