Applications for Aon’s Manchester Work Insights Programme are now open! The programme will run from 7th – 9th July 2026, and applications will close on 26th April.

Aon’s Work Insights Programme is a social mobility progamme for Y12 and Y13 students. We would recommend this opportunity to any students who are interested in careers within the corporate world, especially in business or finance, or those who are interested in exploring apprenticeships after they finish year 13. Students who access free school meals and/or a sixth form bursary will be prioritised.  

 

Students will participate in direct mentorship with Aon employees, develop their teamwork skills by working on group projects, and engage in company-wide networking. Lunch will be provided, and travel will be reimbursed.

Year 12 - Work Experience in Private Equity, Finance or Asset Management - Deadline is 15th March

  Year 12 Students Students will be assigned to a  two-day work experience  in Asset Management & Finance, delivered in partnership with Barings.   Dates:  6th & 7th August  Students may be based anywhere in England but must attend in person in London on 7th August   Completion Award:  £30  Cash prizes available for the winning team challenge Year 12 students will also attend the same two-day  Application Preparation & Employability Skills Programme  (4th August virtual, 5th August in person).
