Year 13 - Admin Trainee Cashier - Insolvency (Please note, this a job and not an apprenticeship)

 

Job Title: Trainee Cashier

Location: Manchester

Experience Level: None required

Salary: £21,200 - £25,000 (based on experience/level)

Reporting to: Cashier


Role Summary

We are looking to recruit a Trainee Cashier to join our existing team. In this role you will

develop a basic understanding of cashier processes and how they link into Insolvency

Law. It provides the opportunity to work towards becoming a Cashier. This role would

ideally suit a sixth form or college leaver with ambitions of a career within the

Insolvency sector or someone considering a career change.


Key Responsibilities

Cashiering

 Preparation of cashiering paperwork and other documents.

 Inputting transactions and data onto a case management system.

 Maintain accurate records line with statutory and non-statutory requirements.

 Dealing with queries from colleagues.

 General support to wider team.

Compliance & Governance

 Contribute to process improvements and quality reviews.

Operational Support

 Assist with meeting team performance targets.

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams across various sites.

 General support to seniors and on specific cases where required.


Key Performance Indicators:

 Work completed to required standards in agreed timescales

 Documents prepared correctly and in line with Company standard

documentation

 Files compliant with legal requirements


Skills & Experience

Desirable

We are looking for a team player who is able to learn from a variety of sources. Full

training will be given to the right candidate, so no previous experience is necessary.

 Have basic ICT skills, e.g using MS Office Applications

 Have a good, confident telephone manner

 English & Maths GCSE grade 6 or above

 Have an interest in both the law and accounting
