Job Title: Trainee Cashier
Location: Manchester
Experience Level: None required
Salary: £21,200 - £25,000 (based on experience/level)
Reporting to: Cashier
Role Summary
We are looking to recruit a Trainee Cashier to join our existing team. In this role you will
develop a basic understanding of cashier processes and how they link into Insolvency
Law. It provides the opportunity to work towards becoming a Cashier. This role would
ideally suit a sixth form or college leaver with ambitions of a career within the
Insolvency sector or someone considering a career change.
Key Responsibilities
Cashiering
Preparation of cashiering paperwork and other documents.
Inputting transactions and data onto a case management system.
Maintain accurate records line with statutory and non-statutory requirements.
Dealing with queries from colleagues.
General support to wider team.
Compliance & Governance
Contribute to process improvements and quality reviews.
Operational Support
Assist with meeting team performance targets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across various sites.
General support to seniors and on specific cases where required.
Key Performance Indicators:
Work completed to required standards in agreed timescales
Documents prepared correctly and in line with Company standard
documentation
Files compliant with legal requirements
Skills & Experience
Desirable
We are looking for a team player who is able to learn from a variety of sources. Full
training will be given to the right candidate, so no previous experience is necessary.
Have basic ICT skills, e.g using MS Office Applications
Have a good, confident telephone manner
English & Maths GCSE grade 6 or above
Have an interest in both the law and accounting
